With almost 40 years now in the packaging industry I have had the privilege to develop a strong network of manufacturers and individuals who have much to their credit when it pertains to major contributions in the packaging field.

Thus, I have always said; "it is not what I know but whom I know", that has made the difference for many customers.

Our recent example is a new machine to wrap horizontal bundles of product totally automatically, eliminating all need and use of either steel or polyester banding and the

slow process that is due to labor when banding. This machine thus makes it possible the fact that flow through production can be increased significantly since the rolling mill or automated system feeding "BOB" has little to no downtime waiting for the strapping process.

"BOB" is an innovative yet simplistic method of stretch wrapping any product securely water proofing it as well, and provides total protection from the elements as well as rough forklift or crane handling. About 5 or 6 years ago, I saw a sign in a manufacturing plant that really had a message that may be fitting for all of us today. It is as follows:
